SAN GERONIMO, CA REAL ESTATE

For potential home buyers thinking about a move to San Geronimo, its location makes it an attractive option for a variety of reasons. First, both Fairfax and San Rafael are only a short drive away from just about any location in the San Geronimo area, which are two of the more desirable communities in all of Marin County and offer plenty of shopping, dining, entertainment, and various other things to do. And because San Geronimo is a bit off the beaten track so-to-speak, homes for sale aren’t quite as expensive as what you’ll see in many of its neighboring communities, Fairfax and San Rafael included.

If you’re at all familiar with the west and central parts of Marin County, homes for sale in San Geronimo are very similar to what you’ll find all throughout the area. Lots of space, plenty of privacy, and some pretty amazing views of the rolling countryside in many cases are only a few of the key characteristics associated with real estate in San Geronimo, and as for home prices, look for most listings to start somewhere around $800,000 and go up from there. Land is also a viable option for home buyers considering San Geronimo, so if you’re perhaps looking to build a home from the ground up, there’s a good chance you’ll find a few choices here and there on the market as well.

LIVING IN SAN GERONIMO

Although roughly 500 people live in San Geronimo, the town is still primarily residential, aside from a small restaurant, a church, and of course the San Geronimo National Golf Course. If local home owners aren’t spending time outside hiking, mountain biking, or enjoying any number of other recreational activities at one of the nearby nature preserves, chances are you’ll find them squeezing in a round of golf at this highly-touted West Marin golf course.
