Manor Hill mainly consists of Redwood Road, Spruce Road, Scenic Road, and Tamalpais Road and it’s along these streets that you’ll find quite the collection of ranch, bungalow, and cottage style homes that should fit the needs and wants of just about any home buyer out there. There’s a little history that relates to the Manor Hill community, which is another unique element to this attractive and desirable Fairfax neighborhood. Back in 1913, the Fairfax Incline Railway was built as a driving force to help sell lots in Manor Hill, giving locals and eventual home owners cheap transportation and also a direct route to the top of the hill, which of course provided some pretty spectacular views of the surrounding area. Today, however, the railway is long gone and is now just a distant memory, but the community itself still remains as highly-coveted as ever by home buyers—something that doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.
