Eichler Homes in Marinwood - San Rafael

Joseph Eichler built approximately 375 Eichler homes in the Marinwood neighborhood of San Rafael.  The majority of these Marinwood Eichlers were built between 1957 and 1958 and the floorplans found in this neighborhood are fairly consistent with the 3/2 or 4/2 Eichler homes in Terra Linda.

While researching the Marinwood Eichler neighborhood, it should be mentioned that the neighborhood is sometimes referred to as "Lower Lucas Valley" or simply as "The Berries" since many of the street names found in the Marinwood Eichler tract have the name "berry" in them - i.e., Appleberry, Cedarberry, Kernberry, Huckleberry, Blackberry, Greenberry & Flaxberry.

If you are interested in learning more about Eichler homes, be sure to visit the Eichler homes website which includes all Eichler listings throughout California,  information on Eichler home ownership, a remodeling gallery and homeowner approved vendor referral directory.
