CORTE MADERA REAL ESTATE AT A GLANCE

Because of its close proximity to San Francisco, Corte Madera actually has a pretty sizable population of about 9,500 people. And as a result, you’ll actually find that schools in the Larkspur-Corte Madera School District rank quite well, which certainly elevates the city’s appeal to potential out-of-town home buyers thinking about becoming a part of the Corte Madera community. In terms of Corte Madera real estate, singe-family homes generally dominate the housing landscape, except for a couple condo communities in town that sit alongside Paradise Drive and Highway 101—two of Corte Madera’s major thoroughfares.

But with both the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mt. Tamalpais State Park just a short drive down the road, the high real estate prices, which are actually considered somewhat moderate for the Bay Area, are in many ways well worth the premium you'll pay, especially if you’re someone who truly appreciates being outside and enjoying northern California’s breathtaking natural landscape.

THE CONVENIENT LOCATION OF CORTE MADERA, CA
